Important notice for patients using the Resound BeMore app


We’re aware that the BeMore app has been experiencing ongoing issues (app no longer appearing in the app store, incompatibility messages, app closing immediately after opening).

GN Resound (the company who make the hearing aids and BeMore app) have confirmed that a recent update / upgrade has caused these issues and are working to provide a solution.

Your hearing aids will continue to work as normal without the app. We’re sorry for any inconvenience this has caused but unfortunately we are unable to provide any support with ‘app related’ problems.

 

We have received the following information from GN resound:

We take the problems reported with the ReSound Smart 3D / Beltone HearMax / Interton Sound app very seriously and understand the inconvenience this is causing, particularly for those who were previously able to use the app without issue.

Our teams are currently analysing the situation and actively working on improvements, which will be delivered in a future app update. At the moment, unfortunately, there are no stable workarounds available for the issues described (app not appearing in the store, incompatibility messages, or the app closing immediately after opening).

Please reassure patients that their hearing aids themselves will continue to function as normal. The issue relates specifically to the app.

We are prioritising restoring a stable and reliable app experience as quickly as possible. However, we are not yet able to provide a confirmed date for when the corrective update will be available. As soon as a solution is ready, it will be released via the app store, and patients can check there periodically for updates.

We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this is causing and appreciate your understanding.
